Yep, four days FOUR DAYS!! till I head out to Miami. Am I excited? Not yet more so nervous lol those that know me know that it’s hard for me to leave my good friends behind so I decided I am going to put them all into my suit case instead of clothes and we’re all going lol. For the past week I’ve been getting pep talks from all of the people who inspire me to do better and want more in life instead of going for the same thing as everyone else.

From looking around and speaking to all my friends 2012 is a year of big dreams, goals and moves how can you not be motivated?!!

I hope all you had an amazing Holiday and stick to all your goals and resolutions life is too short to sweat the small stuff and to stay angry. Till my flight out! Happy New Year!

Fam Jam!

YES! FAM!!! JAM!! Yesterday (September 21st) marked the one year anniversary of my Aunty Vun one of the GREATEST!! women in my life, hell if it wasn’t for her helping me convince my mom that music was going to be a good path for me I think I would be in school for law right now lol. My family decided to get together and celebrate her life, its always great seeing my cousins not gonna lie I think people tend to forget the older you get, the more focused you are on your career you don’t get to see your love ones as often as you hopped, it’s always something that reminds you why you do what you do + its always a good time well in my house it is lol

From the yelling over each other, the mad sweets, pictures and laughter ending the night with what my dad called a jam session which turned into us singing the night away.

Some say the persons body may have left but the soul will always and forever stick around with those it loved and last night seeing my mom and her brother smile after so long made me realize theres more to life than all this glitz and glamour.

IF your in BC at the end of September you can catch myself along side the ladies of Live Vision (Tonye Aganaba, Lil Bit & Lowkita) will be heading out on a mini road trip starting out in Vancouver @ the Media Club then Victoria (venue TBA) and then! we’re off to the Sexy Sounds Festival out in Rock Creek, BC. Its an all female DJ Line up if you like outdoor festivals your bound to like this one!
